Ren, a co-founder of Re-Love is on a mission to create homes for people in the community who require a helping hand. Since 2019, Re-Love has provided household goods to people in vulnerable situations, particularly those fleeing domestic violence, homelessness and people seeking asylum. Re- Love addresses two major issues at the same time: empowering those who need to re-build their lives and preventing environmental waste. Ren with her Re-Love volunteer team rescue good quality furniture and other household goods which might otherwise make landfill and redistributes them at no delay and no cost to those who urgently need it. The grant will help Re-Love expand its services, helping one hundred more families in crisis, in addition to those the charity is currently helping.
